30-Minute Creamy Tortellini Carbonara Recipe with creamy sauce, bacon, and cheesy pasta.

Ingredients
  

  • 20 oz cheese tortellini
  • 6 slices bacon or pancetta chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup peas
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Cook tortellini according to package instructions, then drain.
  • Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy.
  • Remove excess grease and add garlic, cooking briefly.
  • In a bowl, whisk eggs, cream, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Reduce heat and add tortellini to the skillet.
  • Slowly pour sauce over pasta, stirring continuously.
  • Mix until sauce is creamy and coats pasta.
  • Add optional vegetables and cook briefly.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

Keep heat low when adding egg mixture.
Stir continuously for smooth sauce.
Add cream or pasta water when reheating.
