Dubai Chocolate Strawberries

- 6 large fresh strawberries washed and dried
- 1 cup kataifi pastry shredded phyllo dough
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 6 oz ¾ cup milk or dark chocolate (high-quality)
- ¼ cup pistachio butter
- 1 tbsp tahini optional
- ¼ cup crushed pistachios for garnish
Step 1:Prepare the Strawberries
Step 2: Prepare the Kataifi Pastry
Step 3: Wrap the Strawberries
Take a handful of buttered kataifi and wrap it around each strawberry.
Press it lightly so it sticks, leaving the top half exposed.
Step 4: Bake Until Crispy
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place wrapped strawberries on a parchment-lined baking tray.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
Step 5: Melt the Chocolate
While baking, melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave.
Stir every 30 seconds until smooth and glossy.
Step 6: Dip & Drizzle
Let the baked strawberries cool for a few minutes.
Dip the bottom half into melted chocolate and place back on parchment paper.
Drizzle extra chocolate on top for a luxurious finish.
Step 7: Add Pistachio Butter & Garnish
Spoon a little pistachio butter over the chocolate.
Sprinkle with crushed pistachios.
Optional: Drizzle a little tahini for a Middle Eastern touch.
Step 8: Chill & Serve
Let the strawberries set at room temperature, then chill for 15 minutes.
Serve and enjoy this decadent, crispy, and creamy dessert!
