Keto Crunchwraps Recipe

If you’ve been craving the fun, handheld comfort of a classic Crunchwrap but want to stay low-carb, this keto version will make you so happy. It’s cheesy, crisp on the outside, and packed with all the familiar taco flavors just without the carbs weighing you down.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (sugar-free if possible)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 6 large keto tortillas (low-carb, 4–6g net carbs each)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup crushed pork rinds (for the “crunch”)
  • Optional: jalapeños or pepper jack cheese for heat

Steps

  1. Cook the beef. Brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain, and stir in taco seasoning with water. Let it simmer until thickened.
  2. Warm your tortillas. A quick 10–15 seconds in the microwave keeps them soft and easy to fold.
  3. Assemble the center. Place a tortilla on a flat surface and layer: a scoop of beef, shredded cheese, a handful of pork rinds, lettuce, tomatoes, and a spoon of sour cream.
  4. Fold gently. Fold the edges toward the center, working in a circle. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect it tightens as it cooks.
  5. Toast the wrap. In a lightly oiled skillet, place the Crunchwrap seam-side down. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  6. Rest a moment. Let it cool for 1–2 minutes so the fillings settle before slicing.

Chef’s Tips

  • Keep it crunchy: Add the pork rinds right before folding so they don’t soften.
  • Don’t overfill: A little restraint makes folding easier and prevents tearing.
  • Reheat smart: Warm in an air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes to restore crispness.

Variations

  • Chicken Crunchwrap: Swap beef for shredded rotisserie chicken seasoned with taco spices.
  • Cheesy supreme: Add a thin layer of queso inside for extra richness.
  • Spicy version: Mix a little hot sauce or diced jalapeños into the beef mixture.

Serving Suggestion

Serve warm with salsa, guacamole, or a drizzle of spicy mayo it’s a fun, low-carb meal that satisfies every crunchy, cheesy craving.
